What this website is
NCT Centre Guide is an independent editorial website that explains how the National Car Test works and lists the official NCT centre locations. It is not operated by, affiliated with or endorsed by NCTS, Applus+ or the Road Safety Authority.
No bookings or payments
We do not take bookings, sell appointments, collect payments or check your vehicle record. Every booking, payment, cancellation and priority-list request must be made through the official NCTS channels linked from our pages.
Accuracy of information
Information is checked against official NCTS sources on the review date shown on each page. Fees, opening times, deadlines and procedures can change without notice, so confirm details with NCTS before you travel or pay. The information is general guidance and not legal or technical advice about a specific vehicle.
Translations
Our guides in Polish, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Romanian and Lithuanian are translations of the English guides, prepared to help drivers who are more comfortable in those languages. If a translation and the official NCTS information differ, the official NCTS information applies. NCTS documents such as the Vehicle Inspection Report are issued in English.
